Mercy Children’s Hospital would like to invite you to a free education session featuring renowned Developmental Pediatrician and Autism Specialist, Dr. Richard Solomon. In conjunction with Mercy Children’s Hospital’s Autism Clinic, Dr. Solomon will host a two-hour session on intensive and interactive PLAY-based treatment for autism. During the session, you will learn how to successfully engage and interact with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), with a special focus on our ability to make treatment Board certified in general pediatrics and a Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician, Dr. Solomon is the Medical Director for Mercy’s Autism Program. Dr. Solomon has been diagnosing and treating children with autism for over 20 years and founded the P.L.A.Y. Project at the Ann Arbor Center for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics in Michigan in 2001, which has since become a model for intensive autism therapy nationwide. The session will be offered at two different times and locations: Friday, July 23 at Mercy St. Anne Hospital, Conference Room 1; 6:30 – 8:30 P.M. Friday, August 27 at Mercy St. Anne Hospital, Conference Room 1; 6:30 – 8:30 P.M.
