2011-12 Education Series: Creating Communities that Work for Everyone Sponsored by The Ability Center of Greater Toledo, Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities and The Toledo/Lucas County Commission on Disabilities. The purpose of this Community Education Series is to promote communities that welcome everyone, including people with disabilities. The speakers chosen for this series will present fresh ideas and best practice methods meant to build capacity for the inclusion of individuals with disabilities in their communities. Individuals with disabilities, their families, educators, recreation providers, employers, and community/business leaders will benefit from participation. We will be sharing information about these and upcoming events in our monthly online newsletter.
