Join us in The 1st Annual Autism Society of Ohio Bowling for Autism Challenge! The challege will take place in bowling centers throughout Ohio. As of August 1, 2010, the Autism Society will be moving to 470 Glenmont Ave., Columbus, Ohio, 43214. Our phone number will remain the same, but our new fax number will be (614) 754-6332. We will be sharing space with with Ohio Center for Autism and Low Incidence (OCALI) which will provide us greater opportunities for collaboration. We are very excited about our new office! Due Process Hearing Resolution Period - New Federal Regulations Issued
The Office for Special Education Programs (OSEP) has issued guidance to state education agencies concerning the timeliness of due process hearing request resolutions. OSEP has a long standing concern about the amount of time it takes to reach decisions in due process hearings. The Office for Exceptional Children/Ohio Department of Education (OEC/ODE) now requires a copy of the current Individual Education Plan, from the district of residence, for any student who is approved for the Autism Scholarship Program. Join us in The 1st Annual Autism Society of Ohio Bowling for Autism Challenge
Bethesda, MD (July 26, 2010) – The Autism Society joined disabilities advocates from across the nation as the White House marked the 20th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
