First Annual Bowling for Autism Challenge - weekend of August 20-21-22, 2010

The 1st Annual Autism Society of Ohio Bowling for Autism Challenge will take place in bowling centers throughout Ohio. The Challenge is designed to gain funds and support for families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder. This is a tremendous opportunity to help Ohio families in need who struggle with Autism. 1 in 110 children born today in with have Autism.

Ohio High Risk Insurance Pool Now Open!
insurance_policyAs you may be aware, the new federal health care reform law requires states to set up a temporary health insurance program – or "high risk pool" – for uninsured people with preexisting health conditions. This program will last until 2014, when full federal reforms will take effect. Ohio has designated Medical Mutual of Ohio as the nonprofit entity to administer the high risk pool program for the state. New Requirement for Ohio Autism Scholarship Users
scholarshipsThe Office for Exceptional Children/Ohio Department of Education (OEC/ODE) now requires a copy of the current Individual Education Plan, from the district of residence, for any student who is approved for the Autism Scholarship Program.
