Department of Aging Asks Ohioans to Send Caregiver Stories
The Ohio Department of Aging, in collaboration with the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities and other human services agencies, is asking Ohio residents of all ages to submit their stories of love and devotion to the Family Caregiving Story Project. Both caregivers and those who receive assistance from family members and friends are encouraged to send in their personal accounts of the challenges and triumphs that are part of caregiving relationships. ODODD Director John Martin presents before the Federal Interagency Autism Coordinating Council DODD Director John Martin recently was asked to address the federal Interagency Autism Coordinating Council (IACC). Dear RSC partners:
I have submitted a letter to Governor Ted Strickland indicating that I will be retiring from public service effective January 9, 2011. I have been working in the social justice field for 42 years. It is now time to move on to the next phase in life.
