Department of Aging Asks Ohioans to Send Caregiver Stories
The Ohio Department of Aging, in collaboration with the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities and other human services agencies, is asking Ohio residents of all ages to submit their stories of love and devotion to the Family Caregiving Story Project.  Both caregivers and those who receive assistance  from family members and friends are encouraged to send in their personal accounts of the challenges and triumphs that are part of caregiving relationships.

DODD Director John Martin recently was asked to address the federal Interagency Autism Coordinating Council (IACC).   Much of his presentation highlighted the efforts of Ohio’s Interagency Workgroup on  Autism (IWGA).

OCALI Conference Autism Society Parent Corner Presentations

 

Did you attend the 2010 OCALI Conference?  At the Conference, the Autism Society of Ohio hosted a “Parent’s Corner” as part of the Exhibit Hall.  It was place where parents could go to talk to other parents about autism related issues as well as get resources and information from both the Autism Society national organization and the Autism Society of Ohio.
