Thirty-One Gifts Fundraiser Benefiting the Autism Society of Ohio
Thirty-One Gifts started a sale today until Friday December 30, 2011 on lunch totes, $10 for the regular lunch tote (Product # 3000, 19 prints to choose from), and $15 for the new cinch lunch tote (Product # 3785, 5 prints to choose from). These totes can be personalized and make wonderful gifts. I have decided to make this sale a fundraiser and give all my commission to the Autism Society of Ohio. My goal is 100 totes sold! CMS Approves SELF Waiver
New Waiver Offers More Independence to Individuals with Developmental Disabilities! The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) announced today that Ohioans with developmental disabilities soon will have a new option that allows them freedom to control how they receive support services. Under the recently federally-approved Self-Empowered Life Funding (SELF) waiver, individuals direct how their approved support dollars are allocated, and how they receive waiver services like remote monitoring and health equipment or supplies. They also can utilize new services such as Community Inclusion and Integrated Employment to help live more inclusive lives within their communities. Read more...
