The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) was signed into law on March 23, 2010.
The Ohio Department of Insurance, in collaboration with the Health Care Coverage and Quality
Council, the Governor’s Office and other various state agencies, have made an immense effort to
monitor and work towards implementation of Ohio related PPACA’s provisions. Health Care Reform
Stakeholder Forums will be held to review important issues that directly affect interested parties.

The topics for this meeting will provide updates of recent implemented provisions, the state
health insurance exchange option and the federal web portal. The forum will take place from
9:30 am-11:00 am in each satellite location noted above. Parking is available onsite. The forum’s
agenda will consist of: an overview of related provisions, a panelist discussion of related topics, and
a Question/ Answer session. The event’s panel will consist of state agency representatives and Health
