Examination of the Convergent Validity of Questionnaires in Identifying Children with Autism

The University of Oregon

Participant Criteria:  Parents or guardians of children with autism , ages from 3 to 5 1/2 years.

Participants accepted until:  March, 2012

 

The purpose of the study is to measure the accuracy of 3 types of questionnaires used to identify children at risk for autism.

  • Ages and Stages (ASQ)
  • Ages and Stages:  Social Emotional (ASQ:SE)
  • Social Communication

Parents of children with autism are invited to take the  3 aforementioned questionnaires online.  The estimated time to take the questionnaires is 35 to 40 minutes. 

 

The study has been approved by IRB.
