The Autism Society of Ohio, Greater Akron Office is proud to announce that we are now expanding our Neighbor to Neighbor Program to Wayne County! We now have this parent network in Summit, Stark, Wayne and Medina counties

The Autism Society of Ohio, Greater Akron Office is pleased to offer a support system for local families! Would you like to be a Neighbor or do you need a Neighbor? We know parents are sometimes the best resource! Can you volunteer as a neighbor? Now recruiting Neighbors to be trained to use a tool kit of resources to help other families living the autism journey.
Do you want a neighbor? Neighbors can chat via email or phone and even meet one-on-one to discuss issues, resources, and just to let you know you are not alone. They can come from your neighborhood (or one close by) or can be matched by age or topic. Neighbors have great resources in their toolkit, but mostly in their head and heart!
